The Amatis Border Router, or AMBR for short, is used to connect the 6LoWireless mesh network to the internet. More specifically, the AMBR communicates securely with a cloud server, accessible from phone, tablet, or computer after logging in.It is through this internet connection that the system can be commissioned, that real time energy savings and space utilization data can be gathered for the building owner, and that the system can be supported remotely from anywhere in the world.
