CONTENTS



1.0             AMATIS ENERGY DASHBOARD

Data gathered by Amatis devices is transmitted via 6LoWireless™ to AMBR and amatisdash.com, where you can analyze energy generation, systems behavior, efficiency, cost savings, carbon savings and more, all from your computer, tablet, or smartphone. Follow the instructions below to register your devices and get started.


2.0            REGISTRATION AND SETUP

Visit www.amatisdash.com

Click on “Create a new account” and fill out the required fields

Enter your AMBR Device ID (this is also called "Mac Address" or "Serial ID")

  • NOTE: The AMBR Device ID is a 6 digit code found on the bottom of your AMBR. Codes include only letters A to F and numbers 0 to 9 (0=zero)

Choose “System Owner

  • System Owner (Basic User) – you are gathering data on a single project or system

Click the “Register” button and retrieve your confirmation email

  • NOTE: If delayed, be sure to check your inbox's "spam" folder

Follow the link provided in the confirmation email and enter your email and password to login

Fill out your profile information and system configuration. When this is complete you can access your Amatis Energy Dashboard


2.1    EDITING YOUR PROFILE

To edit your profile, select “My Profile” from the Main Menu. From this page you will be able to edit:

  • personal and contact information,
  • time zone,
  • switch units of measurement (kWh or BTU, and Celsius or Fahrenheit), and
  • e-mail preferences
  • NOTE: To add a company logo to a site, see section 6.0 CONFIGURATION

2.2        CHANGING YOUR PASSWORD

  1. Select “My Profile” from the Main Menu
  2. Click on the “Change Password” tab
  3. Enter your new password in each text box

3.0             MAIN MENU

Navigate the Dashboard by using the dropdown Menu in the top right-hand corner

  • Dashboard - Homepage for your building site or energy system
  • Schematics - Interactive building designs (Amatis Pro Dash only)
  • Graphing - Create and save custom bar, line, and pie graphs
  • Configuration – Adjust site information and settings (Installers only)
  • My Profile – Administrative functions such as reset password
  • Logout – Securely logout of Amatis Dash

4.0          DASHBOARD WINDOWS

There are 4 customizable windows (or widgets) on the Energy Dashboard. Click the gear icon to customize the dashboard.

4.1          WIDGETS

On each of the 4 windows you can select one of the following:

  • Energy Graph – view energy generation specific to your system
  • Energy Statistics – view energy stats for specified timeframes
  • Temperature Graph– view supply and return temps for a Joule install
  • Weather – view locations-based weather forecasts
  • Solar Fraction – view solar vs. grid provided energy (for solar only)
  • Controls – system controls settings (Amatis Pro Dash Only)
  • Custom Graphs – view saved custom energy graphs (See 1.2.3)
  • Different timeframes can be selected for each window.

 

4.2        A NOTE ON GRAPHS

SECTION 5.0 goes over graphing in detail. You can create custom graphs using the Main Menu, a detailed walkthrough can be found below, in 5.1 CREATING CUSTOM GRAPHS.


5.0          GRAPHING

 

5.1          CREATING CUSTOM GRAPHS

  1. Select “Graphing” from the Main Menu (top right)
  2. To sort data by device, choose a device from the dropdown menu in ALL DATA POINTS. You can also search for data points by name.
  3. As you click data points in the ALL DATA POINTS window they will move into the SELECTED DATA POINTS window on the right
  4. To deselect a data point, simply click it in the SELECTED DATA POINTS window and it will be sent back to the ALL DATA POINTS window
  5. Change the timeframe for this graph by clicking the drop down menu in SELECTED DATA POINTS
  6. Choose the type of graph by selecting Line Graph, Pie Graph, or Bar Graph
  7. Click “Graph It”
  8. You can export the data by clicking the “CSV” button
  9. To view your other custom graphs select from the dropdown that appears in the top right of the graph
  10. To delete a graph, click "Edit" and look for the small black "x" in the top left of the graph

5.2          SAVING CUSTOM GRAPHS

  1. Create a custom graph (See 5.1)
  2. Click the “Save” button top right
  3. Enter a name for your graph
  4. Click “Edit” to change name and data points
  5. Saved graphs will appear in the dropdown menu

 


5.3          ADDING CUSTOM GRAPHS TO THE DASH

  1. Choose “Dashboard” from the Main Menu
  2. Click the gear icon on a Dashboard window
  3. Choose “Custom Charts”
  4. Saved graphs will appear in the dropdown menu
  5. Choose a custom graph to appear in the window



5.4          ZOOMING ON GRAPH DATA

  1. You can click the graph to enlarge. To zoom into the data on a (large or small) graph, simply click and hold where you want your graph to begin and drag the cursor to where you want the graph to end
  2. To zoom out, click the “Reset Zoom” button
  3. You may also change the timeframe be selecting a period of time from the dropdown menu left of the gear icon

6.0          CONFIGURATION

This is where you can find information on 

PRIMARY SYSTEM INFORMATION

Here you can access and edit important information fields such as:

  • Energy Dashboard Title
  • Program Fleet
  • Installation Type
  • Site Logo
  • Time Zone, and
  • E-mail Preferences

SECONDARY SYSTEM INFORMATION

Secondary System Information includes less important information fields such as:

  • Installation and Ownership types
  • Date of commissioning
  • Site Address
  • Cost information
  • Motive to install
  • Median household or business income
  • Photo of building or residence
  • Number of occupants
  • Square footage of building
  • Year of building construction, and
  • Whether there are other on-site renewables

ENERGY INFORMATION

The fields to edit in Energy Information are:

  • Hot Water Auxiliary Heating Method
  • Name of Electricity or Gas utility
  • Carbon Factor of the utility
  • Efficiency of Water Heater

SYSTEM SPECIFICATIONS

 Here you can edit information fields regarding:

  • Collectors
  • Controllers
  • Solar Tanks
  • Pumps, and
  • Application Number

DEVICE TABS

From any device tab (ex. METER, or SOLSTICE, as seen below) you can:

  • Get Live Data,
  • Delete Device (NOTE: this cannot be undone)
  • Note that the device is a sub-meter, or
  • Utilize the (Energy Bill) Calculator, shown below

DATA SETS (within DEVICE TABS)

Select which device's data you would like to show up when you are using the Custom Graphing tool.

  1. Choose “Configuration” from the Main Menu
  2. Click the specific device tab you wish to edit
  3. Select and deselect data points to "Display in Graphing?" - the selected points will allow for quick custom graphing.
